Conference Destination: WOW

Choosing a destination for a corporate event such as a conference may seem overwhelming as many factors affect where and when it can be held- the hotel space, travel distance for attendees, weather and seasonal attractions along with many other components make up the deciding forces for a destination. Team Xplor has successfully planned and executed conferences all over the country and we’d love to share some of our favorite spots with you!

Chicago, Illinois

It might come as a surprise to some people that Chicago is one of the top destinations for corporate events and meetings, but this city, located in the center of the country, is a huge hub for business. With two of the largest airports in the world, there should be no trouble finding flights to Chicago from any destination, making it a top choice for groups with attendees scattered across the country or around the world. Indoor and outdoor event spaces are plentiful and spacious to host a great evet. Jazz and comedy clubs dominate the nightlife scene, offering a wealth of options for entertaining attendees after the close of the day’s sessions!

Phoenix, Arizona

Phoenix and its eastern neighbor city, Scottsdale, have more sunny days throughout the year than any other metropolitan city in the country! Both cities enjoy approximately 300 clear blue skies annually, with only one day of rain each month. Phoenix has a plethora of hotel and resort spots with stunning views averaging around $110 per night. Accommodations vary from luxury resorts focusing on golf and spa experiences to dude ranches offering a more hands-on adventure. Golf is certainly a prime activity, with more than 200 courses in the area, but other outdoor activities include horseback riding, hot-air ballooning, hiking, and desert tours. There are plenty of activities to offer attendees a unique and unforgettable experience!

Las Vegas, Nevada

As we all know, Las Vegas is commonly known for its wild and extravagant nightlife. But, the luxurious hotels, exceptional weather, and endless entertainment make for an unforgettable and fabulous spot for a conference too! Either being located right on the strip with all of the energy or off just a ways away from the hustle and bustle of the busy areas, there are always activities to keep your attendees engaged in the purpose of the gathering. Steering away from the strip, you can find sprawling spas and golf resorts that will bring your attendees together for a memorable get away. McCarran Airport makes traveling to Las Vegas a breeze with serving 125 cities all over the country!

Charlotte, North Carolina

This city is a major financial hub--but life there isn’t all based around business. Downtown Charlotte, or commonly known as “uptown,” offers a high energy and bustling environment! You can enjoy the southern charm and modern styles of all the resorts and spas right in the heart of downtown. Guests will be able to enjoy a night on the town after the day’s sessions finish! Charlotte Douglas International Airport serves as the 6th busiest airport in the world offering more than 160 nonstop destinations around the world- making it extremely painless for attendees to travel to from all over the globe.

Dallas, Texas

As the ninth-largest city in the United States and the Lone Star State’s third-busiest metropolitan area, Dallas is recognized for its richness in history, boasting a large art district, and its signature snacks. The city dwells on the energetic environment where attendees can experience the life in the “Big D” with 19 blocks of museums, venues and quality food options! Resort and hotel accommodations fulfill any required meeting space and luxurious guest rooms for the attendees. Dallas Fort Worth is signified as the fourth busiest airport in the world, serving over two-hundred domestic nonstop flights around the globe.
